SP Signs Three-Year Partnership Supporting Firewall Replacement Programme for Unipart

 
Security Partnerships is delighted to have signed a new contract with Unipart, a leading third party logistics provider and consultant in operational excellence. SP will play a central role in delivering security solutions for, and external resource to, Unipart Logistics and its IT team.
 
SP approached Unipart with a proposal that delivers tangible TCO savings. SP will provide firewall security via a partially-managed service as an alternative to a fully-managed, but more costly, option that had been considered originally.
 
SP’s solution gives Unipart and ComputaCenter – the chosen outsourced partner for Unipart – the flexibility and control of an in-house solution, with sufficient external resource on support, monitoring, compliance and audit. This mirrors the quality of a managed service, at reduced cost and with less internal administration whilst embracing the principles of the Unipart Way, the company’s culture of continuous improvement, engagement of people and commitment to world-class standards of performance.
 
SP delivers a full security solution, which includes:
  • Direct access to qualified engineers via the SParc support service – cutting out delays associated with first line support,
  • Its unique SParc Monitor Service – a true early warning and healthcheck system run by experts,
  • SParc Audit – healthcheck and audit services ensuring that Unipart systems are, and will continue to be, optimal and compliant to the PCI DSS and ISO standards,
  • Additional functionality, which will support improved remote access,
  • Managed system refreshes over the contract life.
